To add a diagnosis for a patient, first select a patient.
Click on Encounters and select the appropriate encounter to add a diagnosis. If needed, create a new encounter.
In the encounter, click on "Add diagnosis".
Search for the diagnosis by name or ICD-10. If not listed, do a quick google search for the ICD-10 code and enter it in the "Diagnosis" search box.
Select "Active diagnosis" to denote an active problem and/or add this diagnosis to the Problem List in the patient's profile, helpful for chronic conditions.
Don't forget to hit the "SAVE" button to save the diagnosis.
As with other encounter elements, you may share, edit, or delete the diagnosis.
